Date of Visit: 6 September 2011
Pisa, our mid-point stop between Florence and Rome. It's just a short distance away from Florence, about 50 minutes train ride. There's really nothing else in this small city, other than the famous building that wasn't built properly... The Leaning Tower of Pisa.
Well, it wasn't really suppose to be the center of attention when the architect designed it. It's just a normal tower, that's suppose to complement the other major buildings around it. However, as the ground was soft, the tower started to lean and for some reason, it became famous! Lol.
We planned about 4 hours in Pisa, but ended up finishing in about an hour. Thus, we joined in the locals and do what they do... lie around on the grass and just enjoy the beautiful day. It's Chillax to the Max! Haha. I'm just lying there, reading Harry Potter on my phone, while Heex plays his PSP.
And speaking of Heex, here's a photo of him and his best friend:
Ahhh Pisa, Pisa... A city with just one attraction... I probably will never return here again.
You should've gone to Siena. Oh well. :(
